Last month, we were ranked 52nd in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 which ranks Britain’s 100 fastest-growing private technology companies according to their sales growth, over a three year period. We were ranked alongside companies such as price comparison website Gocompare, and music recognition services provider Shazam. In order to qualify for the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 companies needed to be unquoted, independent and registered in Britain. The league table adopts the London Stock Exchange’s techMARK definition of what constitutes a technology company.

It’s a fantastic achievement to of been ranked  within the Sunday Times Tech Track, and especially so, as we’re just one of five companies from the South West listed.  Thanks go out to all of the team at C4L for their dedication and efforts over the last year.

We’re looking forward to attending this year’s Data Centre World Conference and Expo Event, taking place 2nd – 3rd March at Olympia in London. At this year’s Data Centre World we’ll be launching our next generation of data centre solutions; Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), VDS and Data Centre Migration. We’ve secured stand D75, which can be located by simply walking directly towards the centre of the exhibition and turning right at stand D50, alternatively you can go to the “Virtualisation and the Cloud” theatre and we’re just on the right hand side. Throughout the course of both days we’ll be running several competitions giving you the chance to win prizes, including a HDTV and champagne.

Earlier on in the month we found out that we’ve been ranked 39th in Deloitte’s Fast50 as well as being named the fastest growing technology company in the South West and Wales. Over the last 5 years we’ve achieved a fantastic growth rate of 823%, which we attribute to our ongoing commitment to research and development of new services. Last week we attended the prestigious Deloitte Awards Ceremony which was held at Emirates Stadium in London, where it was announced that we had made it in to the EMEA’s as the 214th fastest growing technology company. This is now our second year of being listed within both the Deloitte Fast50 and the Fast 500 EMEA’s.

We’re looking forward to increasing our growth rate over the next year and we already have several new technologies in the pipeline, so watch this space.

On Friday 6th August C4L held a Corporate Sailing Day and chartered two 52ft yachts for the day, which were sailed in to the Solent with the other Cowes Week racers, putting our customers sailing techniques to the test. The weather remained dry throughout the day, although there was strong winds gusting a force five, making the sailing interesting for everyone. C4L’s customers were wined and dined onshore and offshore throughout the day, allowing them to enjoy Cowes itself and the water. The day was designed for C4L to get to know their customers on a more personal level, whilst showing their appreciation for their customers continued business over the last year. The day came to a close after watching the famous annual Cowes Week Fireworks Display, which was the perfect close to a brilliant day.
