Thursday, October 29th, 2009

With the Bournemouth data centre build well underway, the first elements of the colocation facility have arrived in the form of Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS).

These UPS units will supply the data centre with power before the generator kicks in, in the event of a mains power failure.

C4L are pleased to announce we have begun the building stage of our Bournemouth colocation facility.

Due for completion in late December 2009, the Bournemouth colocation facility is being built to Tier 2 specifications.  The first phase will provide space for 40 racks, all of which will be in lockable blocks.

The building is well underway and you can watch live progress of the site at www.bournemouthdatacentre.co.uk
